Vicky's story
A childhood shaped by war, told in her own words
The story
A voice that deserved to be heard
Vicky grew up during wartime. Her childhood was shaped by things most of us only read about in textbooks. But Vicky's story isn't a history lesson. It's personal, specific, and full of the kind of detail that only someone who lived through it can share.
This film captures Vicky in her own words, sitting comfortably and speaking openly about what she experienced, what she carried, and what she wants the next generation to understand. It's a Heritage Video built from a sit-down interview, B-Roll, and scanned family photos woven together into a cinematic documentary.
What you see here is a snippet. The full film is a private family keepsake, not something we share publicly. But this excerpt gives you a sense of the tone, quality, and emotional depth that goes into every project we take on.
Behind the film
What goes into a project like this
~40 hrs
on this project
A heritage film isn't a quick shoot and an edit. It's a process built around making someone feel comfortable enough to open up on camera. Every project involves 30 to 60 hours of work across discovery, pre-interviews, production, post-production, and revisions. The finished film is typically 15 to 20 minutes, but it represents weeks of careful craft.
